Circular Pool in the Dale GorgeThis crystal clear swimming hole known as "Circular Pool" is at the bottom of the Dale Gorge in the Karijini National Park. This is what most of the scenery is like at Harvey in Western Australia's south west, during winter. Despite being cold and muddy, the forrest has dense greenery, lots of flowing streams, and abundant wildlife. |

We happened to be on the Lake jasper tracks just after a tree had fallen, blocking the main track, so we had to take this new bypass track. |

Close call for a CruiserA washaway could have ended in disaster for this Cruiser if the bank had of given way. Luckily the clay soil was very firm and held up long enough to pass.

The view from the top of the dunes in the Warren national park are very nice. You can usually see the Warren river mouth, and the wild ocean breakers meeting in a whirlpool of white water. |
