Cape Arid Trip 1999

Day 4 - Wednesday 17th
Jorndee Creek to Esperance (244k)

Start odo 147392, 8:30AM at Jorndee creek campsite. This days was spent working our way along the coast all the way to Esperance, dropping to most camping spots for a look (and a fish), including Thomas river, Targon beach, Mount Arid etc. On arrival in Esperance we decided to stay in some cheap on-site cabins (so we could have a shower) and also decided to go to the local hotel for counter meals. I paid $9.50 and recieved a plate that was packed with a huge T-bone steak, mushroom sauce, salad, chips, baked potato, bread...basically everything! Excellent value, but Andrea was less lucky, opting for the $6 roast lamb special, and being violently sick for the whole night, and a fair bit of the next day! We also watched the video tape that i had taken so far on the in-house TV.
