The bulk of the track is in good nick, so we sat on 90kph, and nearly got caught a few times by these washouts! 1496.jpg

At the end of the Kidson track we headed north on bitumen to Port Smith caravan park, for our first shower in 6 days. 1499.jpg
 Low tide at Port Smith lagoon. My car amoungst the mangroves here, and would be underwater if left for another 6 hours! 1499.jpg

The tide can be up to 8 meters here. This is where the locals launch their boats from. Very muddy and risky! 1500.jpg
